Due to unknown cause, the installation of RPMs from Copr repositories is failing on Fedora. A Testing Farm job will fail with dnf reporting “not a rpm” for RPMs supplied by Copr via HTTP.

Update | 2026-09-04 08:19:00 UTC

The problem seems to be in dnf caching layer, reported to upstream as https://github.com/rpm-software-management/dnf5/issues/2917

Update | 2026-09-04 11:01:00 UTC

The issues has been confirmed as a dnf regression, with a proposed fix. It is not related to Copr itself, the problem affects all repeated attempts to install packages via URL.

The fix has been deployed.
